I had 2 reasons for attending this workshop. 1. to help my students become better writers and 2. to help myself become a better writer. So far this workshop has been beneficial for me. It's given me ideas to use in class and to share with other staff members at school. <br />Today we took a field trip to El Dorado for a writing marathon. We toured the downtown area for ideas on what and who to write about. The downtown area is a very interesting place to find things to write about.
